Frequently Asked Questions
Preventative Maintenance, often abbreviated PM, is a proactive approach to maintenance where regular inspections, servicing, and repairs are performed on equipment and facilities to prevent breakdowns and costly repairs before they occur.
Many commercial and industrial facilities cannot deal with production down time. We can work with your facility team to come up with a custom program to make sure you don’t experience any catastrophic failures.
A maintenance permit is something municipalities have set up to cover the maintenance work of existing systems in a facility. Even something as simple as changing a lamp ballast or light switch DOES require a permit, but it would be impractical to get one for each of these small repairs. Most municipalities offer a yearly permit to conduct repairs on existing systems, and we can help you get one for your facility. It’s far easier and cheaper than you think.
Please note a Maintenance Permit does not cover NEW work on a facility. Replacing an existing outlet would be fine whereas adding another outlet in the same space would not be covered.
The Preventative Maintenance program will be clearly defined as to what it includes under the budgeted amount. Any work identified as above and beyond the scope of the program will be presented for consideration, but will be subject to your approval. We can’t and we won’t spend your money for you.
